USAGE

It agrees in gender: *aucun* (masculine singular), *aucune* (feminine singular). "Je n'ai aucun doute." (I have no doubt.) "Il n'y a aucune solution." (There is no solution.) It emphasizes the complete absence.

TRAPS

It emphasizes "not a single one." Don't confuse it with "pas de" which can be plural. Remember the "ne...aucun" structure.
