Mois means "month". It is a masculine noun.

USAGE

You'll use it for periods of time: "un mois" (a month), "deux mois" (two months). It also appears as "tous les mois" (every month) or "le mois de mars" (the month of March).

TRAPS

The 's' at the end of mois is always silent, whether singular or plural. Do not confuse it with "moi" (me).
