Vite means "quickly" or "fast." It is an adverb, modifying verbs, adjectives, or other adverbs.
USAGE
It describes *how* something is done. You'll often hear it in commands: "Viens vite !" (Come quickly!), or to describe speed: "Il court vite." (He runs fast.)
TRAPS
Remember vite is an adverb, not an adjective. Do NOT use it to describe a noun (e.g., "a fast car").
For nouns, use the adjective "rapide": "une voiture rapide" (a fast car), not "une voiture vite."
