Plan is a masculine noun. It means a plan (strategy, intention, scheme), a map or layout, a flat surface, or a shot/angle in cinematography.
USAGE
Commonly used in phrases like "faire un plan" (to make a plan), "le plan de la ville" (the city map), or "sur le plan financier" (on the financial level/aspect).
TRAPS
Be careful! While it means "plan," it does *not* mean a botanical "plant" (that's "une plante"). Remember it's always masculine: *le plan*.
