GENERAL INFO
Suite is a feminine noun with multiple meanings: "continuation," "sequel," "series," "set of rooms" (e.g., a hotel suite), or "consequence."
USAGE
Common phrases include "tout de suite" (immediately), "par la suite" (subsequently/afterwards), "donner suite à" (to follow up on), and "la suite d'un film" (the sequel to a film).
TRAPS
Be careful! Suite does NOT mean a "suit" of clothes (which is "un costume"). Also, remember it's always feminine: *la* suite.
