Très means "very" or "very much." It is an adverb.

It is used to intensify adjectives and other adverbs.

Examples: *C'est très beau* (It's very beautiful). *Il court très vite* (He runs very fast).

Do NOT use très with verbs; use "beaucoup" instead.

Incorrect: *Je très aime.* Correct: *J'aime beaucoup.* (I like it very much.)
